Subject: Want to start a coworking group in the East, East Bay Area (Walnut Creek)
Hey folks,

I'm just putting some feelers out to see if there's any interest in
starting a coworking group east of the Caldecott tunnel in the San
Francisco Bay Area.  I'm currently an anchor tenant at Berkeley
Coworking (berkeleycoworking.com) and am very happy being a part of
that community. Our small but growing group is absolutely awesome! I
do however live about 20 miles away in Pleasant Hill. I'm looking to
join in with or to start a new group a little closer to home, say
Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, or Concord. Nothing major at first, just
a meetup to start with. The popular opinion in this forum is to find
the community before renting the space and I certainly agree. I'd like
to see who's interested and to attempt to form a group before we make
any big moves.

I created a new page on the coworking wiki (http://
coworking.pbwiki.com/CoworkingDiabloValley) and would love your input,
either there or in reply to this post.

Cheers,
Sean O'Steen

A couple people have contacted me about a Walnut Creek space
wanting to know if we would do a Cubes&Crayons over there.  I am
not sure we would, but I could try to connect you with the coworkers
who contacted  me to see if they would be interested in a coworking
space.

Felicity, that would be wonderful. Thank you. I've had one person
contact me so far this weekend, and I'm hoping more will respond to
other newsgroup and craigslist posts in the coming week.  I'm thinking
that once we have at least four or more interested people we can talk
about meeting up face to face and discuss goals and values.  Thank you
in advance for the referrals and keep up the great work over there in
Palo Alto!

Sean
