Mac, Mac and Mac :-) My Mac runs like a streamlined engine, with a brilliant user interface. It only requires light maintenance for smooth sailing. My PC chugs along like a 120 year old man in a marathon race ;-)

Is anyone else having problems with Starplayr 2 (2.0.9)? It used to work great---now I get graphics but no sound. It even mutes itself. Strange days indeed!

I understand that Endicia offers two software versions – for PC and Mac – to print InstaPostage (sort of internet postage stamp) using a laser printer or DYMO printer. Not surprisingly, the printing layout of stamps from a Mac or a PC differs quite a lot, e.g. the customer number contains a V in the PC version but an M in the Mac version.

Therefore, in the last one and a half years, I have been desperately looking for a Mac-using collector in the US who is willing to register with Endicia and print some InstaPostage for me. It goes without saying that I would pay for all expenses (e.g. sheets, fees, postage, shipping) and a reward for the help in advance.

Anybody out there who is willing to help or knows somebody who could help?

I use three operating systems, Linux, Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows, and the winner is.... is ...., I do not know, it all depends what you use it for, that rubbish called Windows is good for video games, of course keep it away from an Internet connection, Mac OS X is good for stuff about photos, video, creating nice good looking presentations in iWork, nevertheless I have some problems with the Mac book display, flickers horrible and finally Linux is good when deploying servers, rocks in stability and security, the new effects on the desktop are just amazing, there is good open source software being developed out there, so, it all depends.

Mac, all the way. There's no comparison unless you like to tinker and re-build your computer by trying out new hardware. If you like to just get stuff done, the Mac is for you.

I'd vote for Mac, dual booting is the go. Best of both worlds (though, since I switched, I can't find any reason to use Windows anymore)

I know not a software but a web-based paid service that even sends sms to your cellphone when somebody reads your message, plus it tracks certain types of files and documents sent w/it.
It's very reliable and I recommend. It's called ReadNotify (View Details).
