A VC: It's Not The Data, It's The Flow
I have to admit that I'm at the center of this debate, but I still don't quite understand it. Much of what we discuss around data portability (beyond the initial premise that one's data is one's own to tote where she pleases) sounds a lot like philosophy and isn't very practical at all.
