In my position(s) as senior systems architect and systems engineer, I have designed and built highly-available architectures which host thousands of websites and other services within a shared environment. I’m responsible for deploying the first Windows 2003 product within the hosted service provider space and the first shared, hosted Windows product to leverage SAN technology.

I have participated with Microsoft in its Windows 2003 JDP with a focus on the development of IIS 6. Microsoft has sought my input for the direction of IIS 7 as it applies to service providers.

In addition to IIS, I have architected and deployed SQL, both 2000 and 2005, and Exchange 2003 solutions. I also spend a portion of my professional time doing analyst work with regards to Microsoft.

I enjoy tracking emerging trends on the Internet and how those might apply to hosted services.
