· Facebook announced that Friend Connect redistributes user information from Facebook to other developers without the user’s knowledge. They say it doesn’t respect the Facebook privacy standards and is suspending Google Friend Connect until it comes into compliance with the Facebook Terms of Service. · Facebook launched their service, Facebook Connect three days before Google’s Friend Connect.
