The Blog Council launches a blog of their own!
Mashable has assembled this list of over 35 companies who are experimenting with social media in a host of different ways. Great resource. Anything missing?
Mack reviews the Wal-Mart Checkout Blog. The blog started off as a great project, but it has the distinct feel of a lack of community management overseeing the project. I get the sense that it's not being run by a single person able to dedicate some time to making sure things stay on track and stay interesting. Bummer.
RWW shares nine corporate blogs that are actually fun to read! Who'd have thought. I'd also add the Graco blog to this list - http://blog.gracobaby.com/
Interested in finding some NEW examples of corporate blogging? Here's several!
It's good to hear news like this... "Kodak Names Jennifer Cisney Chief Blogger"
The New York Times looks at the TSA blog. Good review, overall.
Famed motorcycle maker, Ducati, has a pretty impressive community effort underway.
I came across the Wells Fargo blog portal today. It's a fantastic implementation, especially for such a "traditional" business.
Pretty decent character blog for the FX show "Damages". Sometimes there's a disconnect between the show world and the real world, but overall it's very interesting and makes for a fun support effort!
Corporate blogging done fun. Corporate blogging is not just about what's happening with the financials.
Fanastic quasi-corporate blog for the TV Show "Mad Men". They deliver answers, share the press coverage, give behind the scenes details, and provide tools and encouragement for sharing. Fantastic blog for fantastic show.
Seems like all the tech big boys are starting to embrace employee blogging. Good!
