this week i got the new Wilco, Dungen, Feist, Dan Duncan, ummm i think that's it...
Recently: Bjork, Elvis Costello's new collections, Lifesavas, Sage Francis...
New Dungen? Really? Who knew? I recently got the new Rosebuds album, but was not so happy with it.
Here are some recent additions to my hard drive: new Dizzee Rascal, The Bees, the new Police remastered two disc thing... I want the Afghan Whigs compilation, but i haven't seen it out yet. My friend at Rhino (pat goddard) really needs to hook me up with more stuff!
Not a new release as such but a goodie none the less. Mark Ronson, "Versions". Some interesting versions of some great songs. I particularly love the Amy Winehouse track "Valarie" and "God Put A Smile Upon Your Face" featuring the Daptone Horns, those horns are something else!
2-time John Lennon Songwriting Contest winner Arthur Godfrey has a new record out. Not enough people know who he is, but he's one way cool singer-songwriter....Tom Waits meets the Stones. Great stuff.
