Simple Options

Full Feeds

Full feeds include descriptions, tags, and thumbnail images for each bookmark. Full feeds are offered in RSS and Atom formats.

RSS RSS is the most widely used subscription format. To read RSS feeds, you’ll need a feed reading application like NetNewsWire or FeedDemon, or a modern browser such as Safari, Firefox, Opera, Camino and IE7.

Atom Atom is an up and coming feed format that is not as popular as RSS but offers more features. To read Atom feeds, you’ll need a feed reading application like NetNewsWire or FeedDemon, or a modern browsers such as Safari, Firefox, Opera, Camino and IE7.

Light Feeds

Lite feeds provide only the title, description and link for each bookmark. They’re perfect for mobile devices, and to publish publishing links through your blog’s RSS plugin or sidebar item, and work great for Wordpress-hosted blogs.

JSON JSON stands for Javascript Object Notation and our JSON feed can be used to work with bookmarks in client-side javascript notation. Include the code below to load the most recent bookmarks in this list into your current javascript environment.

Microformats Microformats offer a simple way to desribe what information is being shown on an HTML page. While designed for human readability first, Microformats can also be interpreted by other programs. Microformat usage is still experimental and evolving daily.

These feeds provide a bare-bones HTML document bookmarks in various microformats:

xFolk (RC1) xFolk is a simple and open format for publishing collections of bookmarks.

hAtom (0.1) hAtom is a microformat for content that can be syndicated, primarily but not exclusively weblog postings.

hreview (0.3) hReview is a simple, open, distributed format, suitable for describing reviews..
