Which API is Right for Me?
One size never fits all, so we have different takes on API and feed outputs to suit different needs.
Ma.gnolia API
Our native REST API (Documentation) provides robust access to bookmarks across our users and groups. Version 1 uses simple key authentication and is deprecated; version 2 is based on OAuth authentication and in active development.
Mirror'd API
A mirror of the del.icio.us API, Mirror'd (Documentation) enables existing applications developed for del.icio.us to add Ma.gnolia support with minimal change.
Syndication Formats
Each bookmark search produces a number of outputs (Documentation) through hackable URLs that are found on Publish and Subscribe pages at the bottom of any search page. Currently, we provide JSON, HTML, RSS & Atom (full and lite versions) and Microformat outputs.
