Mary Helt and Chris Sittel of maryink met at a party in Nashville when they were home visiting their families. At the time Mary was living in NYC working as a photographer's stylist and Chris was living in Florida working at a silk screen studio. After a few years of tee shirt parties and projects the two packed up and moved back to Nashville to start their original silk-screen design clothing company maryink. Polymer Clay TV #60 Silkscreening on Polymer Clay
from Polymer Clay podcast and TV July 06, 2008
Today we have a new episode of Polymer Clay TV for you to enjoy. This week we show you how to silkscreen on polymer clay. This is an easy and fun technique that anyone can master. All you need is some clay and acrylic paint. You will have to do some testing to see what brand of paint works best on the brand of polymer clay you are using. I had good luck with the Folk Art & apple Barrel brands on Premo brand clay. Enjoy! If you would like to try our Magic Transfer Paper which we demonstrated on last weeks video just send an e-mail to polymerclaypodcast@yahoo.com with your mailing address and we will get it in the mail.http://polymerclayproductions.com/cart/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=15&zenid=a7550bd390b0e8361254632e8ffeb424

Videoblogging Week Day 6
from Luxomedia April 03, 2005
DIY Silkscreen Part 5 on Day 6 (I know, it's confusing). Last night I was designing logos on the computer which I will burn on a screen today and print. Got some cool designs and ideas from Oscar, Doug and Adam. The lo-fi music is by fx10243 which I got on Opsound. BTW, my vids are Creative Commons BY-NC-SA so feel free to remix and use the audio. I am going to post my audio files on Opsound at some point. My doggie Dexter had several seizures last night. He has epilepsy. He takes Phenobarbitol twice a day and Potassium Bromide, which helps alot but doesn't cure him completely. I wish a cure could be found. He is resting today and says hello.

DIY Silkscreen 4 - Screening the shirts. Thanks for the font ideas, suggestions and encouragement! I'll incorporate some of them into the upcoming vlogs. After editing out a gazillion of my "so, uhs", I'm starting to get the hang of what it's like on the other side of the camera.

So if you can think of a cool font for a "Videoblogging Week 2005" shirt, then email me.
