flyback - Google Code
"FlyBack is a backup and recovery tool loosely modelled after Apple's TimeMachine." It's already at version 0.4 -- I love Open Source. It's not very easy to install nor use yet, but give it another year and I'm quite sure something like this is included by default in most of the major Linux distributions.

Apple's Time Machine is a great feature in their OS, and Linux has almost all of the required technology already built in to recreate it. This is a simple GUI to make it easy to use. |

Backup utility that's similar-ish to OS X's TimeMachine. |
