Anil Dash: Pixels Are The New Pies
Interesting sightings of pixel or block based infographics which are substitutes for pie charts. I don't think I've seen any of these in UK media yet. I'm no fan of pie charts, but I'm not sure these are a great improvement.

Anil Dash points out a bizarre new trend in infographics: square pixels instead of circle graphs. Excellent way to show nothing, as I see it. Excellent way to make 25 look a lot like 50, and to make 10 look a whole lot less that 15. |
