NSTAR: NSTAR Green
NStar (the local electric utility) is going to offer the customers the option of using wind power for en extra 3¢ per kilowatt hour. My current rate is about 12¢ per, so that about a 25% increase. However, we've taken a lot of steps to conserve energy (that has been great) and could probably afford it. We get a lot of our food from local farms, and love being able o go see the cows who give us our milk. It would pretty great o go see the windmills that give us our electricity.
